AEW All In 2025 was an obscenely long show. Six hours for the main card? C’mon, folks. What the hell are we doing here? Tony Khan has to understand at this point that the biggest matches of the show don’t get the crowd energy they need when they go on at the five hour mark. Six hour shows make no sense regardless of how you try and slice it.
Now, with the painful length to the side, this event had it’s hits and misses. The undercard underdelivered significantly, but the big matches that the show was built on strongly came through. The sizzle of the happy Adam Page ending was a perfect bow on a ridiculous and needlessly long afternoon.
Here are my Brass Ring Ratings for the event and here’s how they work … I call it like I see it and grade accordingly. Period.
The Opps vs. The Death Riders - AEW World Trios Championships
A strong opener that the show needed. AEW PPV events are LONG. We know this. This match seemingly understood that and gave the audience enough to be interesting — including a Doomsday Device counter by Powerhouse Hobbs. They didn’t overdo it, though, and left plenty on the table for the rest of the card to gobble up.

Men’s Casino Gauntlet Match
Lived up to the hype, I guess. Certainly not a mat classic or anything, but it had the surprises and spots that come with the gimmick. MJF winning was foreshadowed for weeks. Not only does that position another top star at the front of the line for the world championship, but it gives Adam Page a strong opponent right out of the gate.

Kyle Fletcher vs. Sammy Guevara vs. Dustin Rhodes vs. Daniel Garcia - Vacant TNT Championship
An ok match, but one that’s energy was hurt by the Adam Cole promo right before it. Cole was clearly shook about his health and him speaking had more drama than any part of this match. Rhodes winning is a fine nod to him, but make no mistake, the title needs to be on Fletcher now that Cole is out for what appears to be a long period of time.

Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland vs. The Young Bucks - The Bucks EVP titles against Ospreay and Strickland’s world title opportunities for the next year
Just a fantastic match. Total state of the art action and unique spots, but nothing over indulgent or too “Young Bucks.” This had plenty of story and perfect execution throughout by all four men in the match. Plenty of reasons to have The Young Bucks win this one, but sometimes the good guys just need to win.

Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match
Fine. Totally fine. Some surprises and a strong win for Athena. Time to get her up to the main AEW roster for good.

The Hurt Syndicate vs. The Patriarchy vs. Jet Speed - AEW World Tag Team Championships
The match was what it was. Totally unnecessary. Hurt Syndicate won and that’s important. The angle at the end with Cope made no sense. Zero. So, Nick Wayne finally turns on Cage who has been a total asshole to him for months, but Cage is now the babyface? Plus, Cope has to go through his ENTIRE ENTRANCE before making the save? Man, there is getting your shit in and then there is THAT. Brutal. Worst part of the show.

Toni Storm vs. Mercedes Mone - AEW Women’s World Championship
Great match and the match of the night. It didn’t get into the zone of the tag team match from earlier in the night in terms of the crazy athleticism, but it was good in it’s own way. Different, too. The final third of this match was built on the shoulders of the slower first two thirds. It played. The last part of the match had some incredible counter wrestling and the finish was a surprise. Storm over Mone? It’s a huge win for Storm and supplants her as the number one woman in AEW.

Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada - Winner Take All AEW Unified Championship
This was a good match, but it fell short of my expectations. Running this match back was always going to be a tough putt because of how tremendous the first run of matches were between Okada and Omega in New Japan. They clearly didn’t surpass those matches, but smartly, it didn’t appear that they tried to. This was a match between Okada in Omega in 2025. It was a little slower and had less pop than the previous bouts, but captured the innate chemistry that both men have together. The finish was too silly for my liking, but it leaves the door open for another run at this down the road.

Jon Moxley vs. Adam Page - Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship
This went exactly as expected and that was the best part about it. Tony Khan could have convinced himself to get cute and put Moxley over, but sometimes the Avengers assemble and defeat the bad guys. That’s what happened here. Moxley and Page wrestled a match worthy of the Death Match stipulation thanks to dragging each other through broken glass and other random acts of violence. The essence of the match came when the interference started, though, and it all made sense and worked within the narrative of the story. Bryan Danielson was a fun surprise and so was the appearance from Darby Allin. In the end, Swerve Strickland being the guy to officially help Page win the match was fitting and where everything needed to go. Page taking the title belt out of the briefcase to a loud cheer was the payoff all along and the pop for it showed that they landed the plane successfully.
